Hello, My Name Is Oliver, is a middle grade book based on Oliver’s true life events after he is disgracefully disposed of at the nearest SPCA shelter and left without so much as a cuddle, which left poor Oliver (then registered as Gulliver) feeling unloved, generic and dispensable.

As Oliver’s new life after his successful adoption unfolds and he matures beyond his puppy years, Ollie discovers that his idiosyncrasies are not so dissimilar to that of his human family and others he meets. However, his greatest challenge becomes passing on this information to his new family whilst learning to cope with anxiety, depression and some unique perceptions.

Although Hello, My Name is Oliver is a fun read, the story really teaches the reader about love, acceptance, tolerance and adaptability; all of which could be beneficial to us all!
